Job description

Conducting site surveys to assess suitability for solar installations, considering factors such as sun exposure, shading, and structural integrity.
Collaborating with design teams to develop detailed plans and layouts for solar panel arrays, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical wiring systems.
Managing and supervising the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Performing quality checks and inspections throughout the installation process to verify the proper functioning of equipment and adherence to project requirements.
Testing and Commissioning: Overseeing system testing and commissioning activities to verify performance and functionality, troubleshooting any issues as needed.
Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including site reports, inspection logs, material inventory, and as-built drawings.
Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in solar energy systems to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.

Job requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Previous experience in solar energy system installation and project management preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
