HV Engineer

Responsible for designing high voltage electrical systems, choosing the right equipment, and overseeing their testing and setup. This role also includes managing project timelines and resources, along with other assigned tasks.

‍Job description

Design & Planning: Involved in designing electrical system that operate at high voltage levels, perform load flow analysis and develop protection schemes to ensure proper functioning of the system.
Equipment Selection & Specification: Selecting appropriate equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, insulations and other components for high voltage system considering the project budget, industry safety standard and guidelines.
Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning of the HV equipment.
Project Management: Coordinating tasks, managing resources and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job requirements

Education: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering(Hons).
Computer skill: Microsoft office and Autocad.
Years of Experience: 3 - 6 years.
Language proficiency (Spoken & Writing):English and Malay.
