Digital Marketing Specialist

Collaborate with marketing, design engaging materials adhering to brand guidelines, work with copywriters, create website layouts, stay updated on design trends, and manage multiple projects.

Job description

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
  • Design visually appealing and engaging marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, website banners, infographics, brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in messaging and visual identity.
  • Work closely with copywriters to combine visuals with persuasive copy that effectively communicates key messages.
  • Conceptualize and create visually compelling and user-friendly website layouts and landing pages.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers or agencies, to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of printed materials.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design quality and effectiveness.
  • Present design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind creative decisions.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Support cross-functional teams with design needs, including sales, product development, and events.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and styles.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and technologies.
  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovative design ideas to the table.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present and explain design concepts.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with web design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) is a plus
