We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality written content for a variety of platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and marketing materials. The Content Writer will collaborate with marketing and editorial teams to develop content strategies that align with company goals while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Strong research, SEO knowledge, and the ability to write engaging content for different audiences are essential for this role. The position requires someone who is adaptable, can manage multiple projects, and stays updated on industry trends.

Job description

  • Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and original content for various platforms, including blogs, articles, website pages, social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accurate and up-to-date content that resonates with the target audience.
  • SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices in content creation, ensuring articles and posts rank high on search engines and attract relevant traffic.
  • Brand Voice & Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content types, ensuring alignment with the company's tone and messaging strategy.
  • Proofreading & Editing: Review and edit content for grammatical errors, clarity, and overall quality before publication.
  • Content Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and editorial teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Social Media Content: Create and manage content for social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, to engage and grow the online community.
  • Content Calendar Management: Assist in maintaining the content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content publication.
  • Audience Engagement: Interact with readers and followers by responding to comments, feedback, and inquiries on content platforms.
  • Content Performance Analysis: Track the performance of written content using analytics tools to optimize for engagement and effectiveness.
  • Adaptability: Write content across various formats, from long-form blog posts to concise product descriptions or social media snippets, based on the platform and target audience.
  • Collaboration with Design & Video Teams: Work with graphic designers and video producers to create multimedia content that enhances written pieces.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay informed on current industry trends, digital content practices, and competitor activity to ensure your writing remains fresh and relevant.
  • Content Repurposing: Repurpose existing content for use across various platforms, ensuring maximum reach and impact.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in campaign marketing, event planning, or related roles. Open for fresh graduates to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Good writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive copy that resonates with target audiences and drives desired actions.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, digital marketing principles, and best practices for creating content that attracts, engages, and converts target audiences.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner) to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and the ability to adapt content to different audiences, channels, and formats.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Preferably a minimum of 1 year experience as a copywriter, content creator, or related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of written content across different formats and channels.
  • Language Proficiency (Spoken): English, preferably bilingual.
