Civil Engineer (Sr. Executive or Executive)

Responsible for evaluating sites for solar installations, analysing structures using Staad Pro, reviewing design drawings, preparing tender documents, and staying current with engineering and construction techniques. Additional tasks as needed.

Job description

Inspecting field sites (roof structure, building structure and soiling condition) to observe, evaluate, operability of facilities and to access the feasibility for installation of new rooftop, BIPV and ground mounted solar system.
To check existing drawing and new drawing provided by various design consultant for the integration with new solar system.
Familiar with Staad Pro software to evaluate the roof strength analysis.
Putting together specification and requirement for issue of tenders for civil or structural works contracts.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art technical skills in materials & methods in all applicable engineering, architectural & construction areas.
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job requirements

Staad Pro and AutoCAD.
Project management and supervision skills.
Decision making ability and leadership skills.
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
Language proficiency (Spoken & Written) : English & Malay.
