Business Development (Sr. Executive or Executive)

Responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence in the solar energy sector. Conducts market research, generates leads, builds client relationships, develops proposals, and negotiates and closes sales deals. Collaborates with internal teams and provides regular reports on sales activities. Requires strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and communication abilities.
  • B2B lead generation.
  • Responsible to initiate, promote and develop sales and leads opportunities in the assigned region on growing the assigned solar industry business volume and achieve sales and incomes targets.
  • Prepare sales plans and secure orders for the Company's products, solutions and services, and to achieve the sales and income target.
  • Identify and establish new customers as well as new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration and development, with special emphasis on the project and end user market.
  • Plan and conduct technical seminars or solutions/product demonstration to prospective customers in a professional and high quality manner.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers and dealers in order to maintain good rapport as well as to solicit feedback on the effectiveness of the products, services/support and other market information.
  • Analyze sales and industry data, market trends, and impact of changes in external and review sales plan as necessary.
  • Preparation of quotation.
  • To involve and manage adhoc sales collaboration projects.
  • Attend all necessary project site meetings when required in order to ensure smooth hand over.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem solutions.
  • To assist attend to client meetings when needed.
  • To keep the company up to date with the latest development on solar related policies, guidelines, products and services.
  • To undertake duties with appointed investors where necessary to deal with them on Rooftop / LSS Projects.
  • Qualifications required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, and other equivalent qualifications.
  • 2 to 4 years’ sales experiences from Renewable Energy, Solar or relevant industry.
  • Always support and work as a team.
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess good communication skills both spoken and written in English.
  • Possess the ability to communicate with people at all level.
  • Result-oriented with a high degree of self-motivation, positive mind, the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate.
